The Covenant report displays the covenants that are associated with either an individual client or with multiple clients (system-wide portfolio of an officer, a bank, or a region). There are two types of Covenant reports in Statement Analyzer: the client Covenant report and the portfolio Covenant report.

Note: Covenant reports created in OnePoint do not get migrated to Statement Analyzer.

Client Covenant Report

The client Covenant report is run by an individual lender or a credit analyst who is working on a deal or a particular client. If you run a client Covenant report, these columns display on the report:

The client Covenant report is sorted by covenant name in ascending order and then by period date in descending order. There are no filtering options for an individual Covenant report.

Portfolio Covenant Report

The portfolio Covenant report can display the status information about more than one covenant at a time. It is generally run by credit analysts to review the entire portfolio of a loan officer, a financial institution, or a region. If you run a portfolio Covenant report, these columns display on the report:

You can define all of the filtering and sorting options for a portfolio Covenant report.

Covenant Report Samples

Below is a sample of an individual Covenant report.

Below is a partial sample of a portfolio Covenant report.

NOTE: If an asterisk (*) displays next to a value in the Actual column for either kind of Covenant report, then that period needs to be balanced.

Past Due Statements

You can configure a portfolio Covenant report to display a list of clients with past due statements. This allows you to conveniently list all of the clients with covenants in default. To generate a portfolio Covenant report that lists clients with past due statements, configure a report with a filter based on the settings in this table.
