Report and Print Options Dialog Box

You can access the Report and Print Options dialog box to edit general, report, and print options. The default settings are defined by your system administrator and apply globally across the system. However, you can overwrite these settings for a specific client by selecting options on the Report and Print Options dialog box. The settings for other clients will not be affected by the changes you make here. The following actions can be performed:

Report Options Tab Field Details

The following table provides information regarding the fields on the Report Options tab in the Report and Print Options dialog box.

Header Format

No

Indicates the information to include in the header section of a report. For example, you can select the Both Analyst and Preparer option to include both the analyst's and preparer's names in the header section. Valid values are provided in a drop-down list.

Common Size Format

No

Indicates the default setup for common size reports. Valid values are provided in a drop-down list. The options are described below:

  • $% $% $%: The report columns are clustered by period. The dollar amount and then the percentage for each period are shown in turn, period by period.

  • $$$ %%%: The first cluster of report columns shows the dollar amounts for the periods. The next cluster shows the percentages for the periods.

  • $$$: Only dollar amounts are shown on the report. Unused accounts are not printed.

RMA Peer Report Format

Indicates the default setup for RMA and Peer reports. Valid values are provided in a drop-down list. The options are described below:

  • Highlight: Adds the median quartile information to the far-right column of the Highlights report.

  • Median Quartile: Compares the customer's data with the median quartile for the customer's NAICS, giving you the standard line and ratio comparison found in RMA's Annual Statement Studies.

  • All Quartiles: Compares the customer's data with all quartiles for the customer's NAICS to determine in which quartile this customer falls.

Detailing

No

Indicates if account detail will be included on the input, common size, and trends reports. If the check box is selected, account detail will be included. If the check box is not selected, account detail will not be included.

DBA Instead of Client Name

No

Indicates if the DBA (Doing Business As) name will be printed on reports rather than the client name. If the check box is selected, the DBA name will be printed. If the check box is not selected, the client name will be printed.

Annual Statements Only for Peer Reports

No

Indicates if Peer reports will include annual data only. If the check box is selected, Peer reports will include annual data only. If the check box is not selected, Peer reports will include interim data if no annual period exists.

Short Period Description

No

Indicates if the short descriptions for each period will be displayed on the printed report. If the check box is not selected, the short descriptions will not appear on the printed report.

Page number to assign to the first page of a report or group of reports.

Justification

How numeric data will be justified within report columns (e.g., right). Valid values are provided in a drop-down list box.

Page No. Placement

No

Location on reports where page numbers will be placed (e.g., bottom). Valid values are provided in a drop-down list box.
