Managing Line-Specific Options

The Line-Specific Options dialog box is used for changing account titles and accessing standard account information.

Remember that changing an account title in the historical statement causes the account title to change in the projection as well.

Using This Dialog Box

Some accounts in the application have line-specific help, which consists of a standard explanation of the account plus any comments entered by your administrator.

To access line-specific help for an account, follow these steps from the historical statement page:

  1. Right-click the account title.

  2. Choose Line-Specific Options from the menu that appears.

  3. The original account title appears in the Original Title field; click in the Title field and enter the new title you want the account to have.

  4. To edit Line Help, click and enter text in the Line Help box (Admin only).

    Note: This edit applies to all statements spread in the industry that's been changed.

  5. If you want the comments to be shared with other departments within your organization, select the check box. If the check box is not selected, the comment will be shared only within your department.

  6. Click OK to close the dialog box and establish the new title; click Reset Title to go back to the original title.
