In Advisor, as in Statement Analyzer, you can create numerical or yes/no covenants. A numerical covenant uses a formula that you define to determine whether the covenant is in default or not. A yes/no covenant uses a formula based on additional data lines to determine whether the covenant is in default.
To add a covenant:
From the Edit Historical Statement page, click Covenants.
The Edit Covenant Statement page appears.
Click Add Covenant.
The Add New Covenant dialog box appears.
Select from one of the following options:
New, which allows you to create a completely new covenant.
Existing Covenant, which allows you to reuse most of the data from an existing covenant for the new covenant.
Covenant Template, which allows you to use a pre-defined covenant template to create a new covenant.
If you selected Existing Covenant, then select a covenant from the list displayed in the Title section.
If you selected Covenant Template, then select a covenant template from the list.
Click OK.
Complete the fields. Refer to the Field Details section for more information.
Note: If you selected Existing Covenant or Covenant Template, most of these fields are pre-populated. You should change the title of the copied covenant under either circumstance.
If you want to add additional data lines, click Additional Data Lines.
The Additional Data Line dialog box appears.
Complete the fields. Refer to the Adding an Additional Data Line topic for more information.
Note: To add an addition data line value to a covenant, refer to the Adding an Additional Data Line Value to a Covenant topic.
Click OK when you are finished configuring the covenant.
To edit a covenant:

Click and select Edit Covenants.
