Client Basic Information Section

The client basic information section is the primary feature of the client page and is the basic building block of the application database. When you open the client page, the client basic information section is open by default. From this section, you can open the other sections on the page.

You also have the following action menu options from the client basic information section: View Peers, Delete Client, Delete Contact, and Delete Statement.

Field Details

The client basic information section displays the following information and options.

Note: Much of the information displayed in the client basic information section comes from the client profile. Edit the Client Profile section to modify the information displayed in this section.

Field Name

Description

[Client Name]

Full name of the client. This field is a link to edit a client's profile information.

Tax ID

Client's IRS federal tax ID number.

Client #

Number that uniquely identifies the client record.

Contact

Person to contact regarding a client record. This field is a link to add or edit a contact.

Client Statement

Link to view a client's financial statement.

Add Period

Link to add a period to the financial statement.

Projections

Link to add or edit projections.

Comments

Link to add or edit comments relating to a client's record.

Run Reports

Link to generate reports.

Action Menu Items

Click (the action menu button) in the upper-right corner of the client basic information section and choose one of the options shown in the following table:

What it Does

View Peers

Brings up the Peers dialog box.

Delete Client

Deletes the client from the application database.

Delete Contact

Deletes the contact at the client site whom you contact for the client's financial information.

Delete Statement

Deletes the entire statement that has been created for the client.
