The Recent flyout is always accessible from the Recent flyout tab on the right side of the application window and allows you to access up to 50 (depending on your personal configuration) of the client records that you have viewed most recently.

Getting to This Flyout

Move your mouse slowly over (or click ) the Recent flyout tab on the right side of the application window to open the Recent flyout. The Recent tab is always visible regardless of which functional area you are in.

Note: When you move your mouse away from the flyout pane, it will retract. To keep it on-screen, click (the Pin button). After you pin it down, it won't retract until you click the button again (when the pane is pinned down, the button changes into the Unpin button ).

Using This Flyout

The Recent flyout shows up to 50 of the client records (client page, historical statement, projected statement, or reports) you accessed most recently, in order, with the most recently accessed client at the top of the list.

Note: If you want to reset your Recent list, click the Clear button on the bottom of the flyout. The list of clients displayed will be erased and will be rebuilt as you access client records.

You control how many client records the Recent flyout tracks, by means of the Configure Recent List dialog box. By default, the Recent flyout tracks your five most recently accessed client records. To reach the Configure Recent List dialog box, click the Configure button at the bottom of the Recent flyout.

Use the Recent flyout as follows:

  1. Open the flyout.

  2. Choose what part of the client record you want to jump to by selecting the appropriate option from the Go To drop-down list:

    • Edit Statement: Opens the historical statement page for the selected client in edit mode. If no statement exists for the client, you'll be prompted to create one.

    • Run Reports: Opens the Run Reports dialog box, from which you can select and run reports for the selected client. (A statement must exist for the client in order to run reports. If no statement exists, you'll receive a message telling you that the application is unable to run a report for the client.)

    • Run Packaged Reports: Opens the Run Packaged Reports dialog box, where you can specify which package of reports you want to generate. You can also specify the report period for which to generate the report package and the destination file type.

    • View Client Basic Information: Opens the client page for the selected client.

    • Select Projection: Opens the Select Projection dialog box, from which you can jump to the projection page for the selected client. (A statement must exist for the client in order to create a projection. If no statement exists, you'll receive a message telling you that you cannot create a projection for the client.)

    • Edit Client Profile: Opens the Edit Client Profile dialog box, enabling you to quickly edit the client information as well as supply RMA submission information.  (RMA submission applies to administrators only.)

    • Edit Covenant: Opens the Covenant statement so you can add, edit, or delete covenants.

  3. Click the client name in the Recent list.

The application opens the item you selected from the Go To list for the client you clicked.

If you want to reset your Recent list, click the Clear button at the bottom of the Recent flyout. The list of clients currently displayed is erased and will be rebuilt as you access client records.
